Claudia comes from Veneto in Northern Italy where she studied Fine Arts and Fashion Design. She trained under master pattern-makers and then worked with international labels Armani, Marlboro Classic and Versace. Claudia’s work is a constant development of geometric art expressed through her designs and patterns.
In 2000, she took the trip of a lifetime and came to New Zealand. Here, she fell in love and found a fantastic environment in which to grow and bring up a family.
Claudia has had the privilege of working with some of New Zealand’s top designers: Nicholas Blanchet, Liz Mitchell and Workshop.
These associations have allowed her to collaborate with some of the most skilled clothing manufacturers in the local fashion industry, which aligns with Pellizzaro Menswear’s ideology to support and promote New Zealand-made garments.
Claudia is a tenacious and hard-working woman who believes you must follow your heart even if it takes you a long way from home and completely out of your comfort zone.
